Looking forward to coming back together to discuss ways that we can work together to support Cincinnati's Health and Health Care efforts utilizing Social Media and other digital tools.
We are looking at Tuesday, July 31 at 3:00 (instad of July 24) for our next meeting. I am hoping to reserve a room at the Health Foundation again and am waiting to determine if there is space for us. Please let me know if this date will work for you.
Our last meeting was very productive. It was great to meet the people behind the "Tweets" and to begin to discuss creative ways that we can both increase the support inside our organizations for the work that we are doing in social media and also to discuss creative ways that we can educate, engage, and activate consumers and patients utilizing social media and other digital health tools.
We ended our discussion by brain storming about a particular "cause" or "tool" that impacts many of our organizations and our community to learn how we can work together to support each others efforts and positively impact the health of our community. There were many good ideas explored and we agreed to continue to explore more until we met again.
November is National Diabetes month. As we all know, increasing rates of diabetes and the risk of developing Diabetes is a significant concern for both Cincinnati and the country (actually the world).
We could choose control and prevention of diabetes as a "use case" for the community coming together to increase the engagement of consumer and patient using social media and other digital health tools as an area to focus our efforts.
"How" we do this and "how" we measure our impact could be the focus of our next conversation.
Please share your thoughts and interest in focusing on diabetes or other "causes" that we could use to "learn" how we work together.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Sunnie
