We would like to formally invite you to the 2012 Innov8 for Health Launch Pad Startup Showcase. The showcase will be Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal from 1:00-5:00 PM.

• Reception and One-on-One Discussions   3:30-5:00 (Hors D’ouerves and Beverages provided) 

The purpose of the showcase is to allow our startup businesses to reveal their products that have been transformed, through the Innov8 for Health cycle, from innovative ideas into the next great things in healthcare! During the showcase Accelerator companies will show live demonstrations of the latest software solutions designed to solve real problems in healthcare. This event is open to investors, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, and all other interested members of the community. Come support the Innov8 for Health teams so we can help spur business development and advancement in the healthcare industry for the Cincinnati community.

The Launch Pad Startup Showcase is the culmination of a three-month experience in the Innov8 for Health Startup Accelerator. Seven innovative healthcare businesses were selected to participate in our intensive 12-week accelerator program and received a $20,000 grant from the State of Ohio’s Third Frontier’s ONE Fund. The Accelerator program gives our startup businesses the opportunity to work with established mentors from various sectors of the healthcare industry and business community, develop a working prototype for their product, as well as meet with well-known angel investors and venture capital firms to seek funding for future growth.
 
The Launch Pad Startup Showcase is the final phase in Innov8 for Health’s yearly cycle.  The cycle begins with an Idea Expo, then a Business Concept Expo is held, and finally we have a Launch Pad Startup Showcase.  Innov8 for Health is a community wide initiative to create a health innovation ecosystem. Following individual presentations from our businesses, there will be an open display period from 3:30-5:00 PM.   A detailed schedule of events for the showcase, short descriptions of the Accelerator companies, along with a list of our generous sponsors can be found below.
